Mestre is a macOS app developed by Daniel Devesa Derksen-Staats. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when using the app.

What information do we collect?

Mestre does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or usage data.

Speech recognition

If you use the optional subtitle generation feature, the app may use Apple’s Speech framework to transcribe audio into text. Depending on your system configuration and language settings, transcription may be performed on-device or sent to Apple’s servers for processing. This is handled entirely by Apple, and Mestre does not have access to or store any of the audio or resulting transcripts.

Third-party services

Mestre does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
